Smoky Mountains Spring Car Show Guide

The Smoky Mountains are filled with exciting things to do this spring, from visits to the National Park to seasonal celebrations. For car lovers, there are no spring events more exciting than the car shows that speed into town and take over for weekends at a time.

Some of the best car shows in the country are right here in the Smokies, so Stony Brook has all the details about two of the best: a Corvette Show in Sevierville and the huge Spring Rod Run Pigeon Forge Event.

March 21-22: Corvette Expo

This spring, the Corvette Expo is located at the Sevierville Convention Center, where Corvette lovers can meet, look, and buy all in one place. Beginning with a Corvette Cruise, owners can take their cars for a scenic drive through the Great Smoky Mountains. The 45 minute drive begins at the Sevierville Convention Center at 6:00pm March 21. An auction is set to start at 11:00am on Saturday, March 22, where event guests will have the opportunity to bid on more than 100 classic and collector corvettes.

There will also be a swap meet where event guests can trade and sell parts. Most importantly, the Corvette Car Show will end with a panel of experts who award cash and prizes.

April 11-13: Spring Rod Run

One of the largest car shows in the country is held right here in the Smoky Mountains. The Spring Pigeon Forge Rod Run will be located at the LeConte Center, the new 232,000 Pigeon Forge event center.

There will be workshops to share classic car information as well as opportunities for event guests to purchase new and used parts. The top reason this event draws in thousands twice a year is the car show's spectacular showcase of muscle cars and classic models.

For the highest judged cars, the Rod Run will give cash awards up to $8,000. For a chance to compete and win the prizes, you can register online.

The entrance fee is only $10 per adult, and children 12 and under may enter at no charge. For those who would like to participate, the registration fees are listed below.

Outside Vendors - $155.00

Sales Corral - $75.00

To enjoy the car shows without losing rest and relaxation time, Stony Brook Cabins invites visitors to stay in our Pigeon Forge cabins.
